A couple of us at Dance Euphoria headed out to Ibiza last week, to soak up some sun and take in the night life atmosphere of the party island. On our last evening, we decided to join a party out on the water, known as Pukka Up, a popular global clubbing brand. The UK based company head out to the White Isle for their 9th season this year with 2 parties going out each week from San Antonio and Playa D’en Bossa.

DJ Sam Walker

On arrival at San Antonio, their were 3 boats ready and waiting to fill with 100′s of excited people waiting to get on, with already a buzz in air with eagerness to get on. On entery of the boat, everyone was given a free drink and headed up to the top, with the bottom level having a bar which was very reasonably priced compared to most places in Ibiza with bottles of beer and mixers from around €5 including a seating area to rest those dancing feet. Once the boat began to move out, resident DJ Sam Walker warmed up the speakers playing some brilliant tracks that got everyone up straight away on their seats. The second half of the party was hosted by DJ Rosie Romero who finshed off the party with a bang. The music choice between the DJ’s was a perfect mixture of dance, house and remixes that got everyone really hyped and in the party mood including tracks from Example – ‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’, Swedish House Mafia – ‘Save The World’, Diddy Dirty Money ‘Im Coming Home Remix’ and even some Michael Jackson remixes chucked in too!

party atmosphere

The atmosphere on the boat was absolutely electric, with a great bunch of people and seeing the other 2 boats cruising near by, made it feel like a group adventure. What better way to party then on the waters, with sun beating down, cold beers, great music and energetic clubbers around you?

From going onto the boat with uncertainty of how it would go, we came off disappointed that it went so fast, the 3 hours felt like 1, you get lost in the excitement! It was easily the best party we had been to, and if we head out to Ibiza again, we wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

Pukka Up have also just launched its own compilation album series, with a double mix album ‘Ibiza Loves Me’. The brilliant album includes such tracks as KNAS – Steve Angello, Get On The Move (Alex Kenji Remix) – Bingo Players, At Night – Shakedown and more great uplifting tracks. This is a must for anyone’s music collection. Pick up the album now
