We Are Industry Part 1

We Are Industry Part 1

Industry are set to take Birmingham by storm for the first of their “We Are Industry” events on June 3rd, bringing live shows from Booka Shade and Carl Craig alongside DJ sets from Dubfire, Burnski, DJ T. and more to a one-off outdoor all day party.

Both Booka Shade and Carl Craig continue to thrill audiences with their unique approaches to live electronic music. It’s no surprise that Booka Shade have been voted one of the world’s Top 5 live acts by Resident Advisor and the June 3rd performance will no doubt give fans exactly what they’re looking for.

Following his key part in Grammy Award-winning duo Deep Dish’s phenomenal success, Ali Shirazinia aka Dubfire struck a different chord with the music world, releasing polished techno on labels such as Desolat, Minus and Cocoon before founding his own label SCI + TEC which has established him as one of the forerunners of the scene.

Under the many guises that Carl Craig has released under during the years, some of his most respected output has come out through his 69 project. He’ll be revisiting this classic period in a live setting as homage to the genius that has cemented his reputation as one of the finest purveyors of techno.

Completing the line-up is DJ T., whose background as a DJ, label owner, producer, club operator, publisher and journalist has put him in excellent stride for his breakthrough as an artist in his own right. He’ll be supported by the sounds of Burnski, Maxxi Sound System and a special set from Antonio Vendone B2B Adam Curtain.

An afterparty has been arranged for the strong-minded at a secret location from 11pm – 6am, with the likes of Manik B2B Burnski, Huxley, WiLDKATS, Ben Pearce and Paddy Lopaski. More information on the event and exclusive after party to be announced soon.
